Standard Entrance Pass

Private vehicle (covers you & passengers) - $25.00

Motorcycle - $20.00

Per person (bicycle/on foot) - $15.00

Valid for 7 consecutive days

Organizations & Businesses

Commercial van (7-15 seats) - $50.00

Commercial mini-bus (16-25 seats) - $60.00

Commercial motor coach (26+ seats) - $150.00

Commercial vehicles are charged a flat rate based on the capcity of the vehicle (not the number of persons on board)

Annual Entrance Pass

$45.00

This pass admits the pass holder and three persons (16 years and older) in a private non-commercial vehcile into the park free for a period of one year from month of purchase. It can only be purchased at the entrance station to White Sands National Park.

This pass does not apply to special use fees, such as camping and interpretive program fees.

When should I arrive for the event?

Secure your spot early at the White Sands National Park - due to the high volume of visitors our recommended arrival time is 5:00am when lineups are allowed to begin.

How do I get a balloon ride?

Due to insurance restrictions - individual rides are not available for purchase. The only possibility to get a balloon ride, is to purchase a sponsorship.

How do I purchase a sponsorship?

How can we view the balloons?

You can find a cozy spot to enjoy the sunrise and view the mesmerizing sight anywhere within the park. Feel free to walk and talk amongst the crowd of balloon pilots and crews! But please be courteous to our hot air balloons and do NOT step on or over any of the balloon fabric or equipment.

What are chase crews?

Chase crews are the ones who assist the pilot in the inflating and deflating of the hot air balloon for each flight, as well as keeping a close eye to meet them at their landing spot! For those interested in being on a chase crew, please contact us by clicking here - Click Me -
